I purchased an electric fire from Hot-Fires.co.uk after first checking their stock position. Andy emailed me to say they had 2 in stock. I telephoned them and checked delivery to my home and was told the following Friday or Monday so I paid the £365.00. Nothing arrived and when I telephoned after finally getting through I was told they haven't got any in stock yet and they don't know who told me that they had.
I told the young lady Andy told me, 'he wasn't in today' so she couldn't verify it.
I said I want a refund and that I have been conned.
Now waiting for a refund before I can purchase from a repatable company
This is the sort of trader that gets the Internet a bad name.
